Administrative Support Staff
Education Requirements
High School diploma/GED (minimum)
Qualifications
- Ability to relate well with public via telephone and in person
- Previous office-environment work experience preferred

- Able to work with multiple supervisory staff, balance and prioritize multiple requests
- Ability to manage own time, organized
- Computer literate; experience with word processing (Word2003), spreadsheets (Excel2003), database (Access97 and FileMakerPro 9), QuickBooks (QBPro 2008) preferred, standard Office Machine(s)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephones, take accurate and clear messages, respond to customer inquiries, provide driving directions to LCS facility
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Management and Supervisory staff
- Assist with Bookkeeping (data entry in QBPro, etc.), Payroll assistance, A/P’s and A/R’s
- Maintain files (paid Invoices, Payables, etc.) and file storage
- Accept in-bound freight/deliveries (may require Fork Truck training)
- Maintain office supply/ies stock
- Pursue personal development by reading of procedures, our services, industry periodicals and related product information, etc.
- Greet visitors
- Pre-screen job applicants
- Process in-bound mail (open, sort, date stamp, delivery to appropriate individuals)
- Work Home Shows/Special Events, as requested (may require occasional evening &/or weekend availability)
- Maintain OSHA 200 log
- Other tasks, as requested
LCS Kleen-Aire Offers
- Working Hours of 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with ½ hour Lunch break, unless previously approved by Supervisory staff
- Vacation time of one (1) week following one (1) year of service

Air Duct Cleaning Technician
Individual should offer the following:
- Willingness to work until the job is completed in an appropriate manner
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as necessary
- Willingness to travel for 1 – 2 weeks at a time for nonlocal work (room & board provided)
- No inclination for claustrophobia (we do work in small, tight quarters)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions (and ASK if something is not understood)
- Able to provide verfiable driver's record (Class E licensing will be required within 90 days)
- Provide own common hand tools (additional specialized tools can be purchased on account with payroll deductions once training is well underway)
- Ability to maintain a clean, neat and orderly working environment
- Upbeat, positive personal manner and able to accept criticism and instructions as it pertains to work-related activities

Residential Sales Position
This position will require good working knowledge of duct work and residential-type heating and cooling units, to include but not limited to Gas-fired, Oil-fired, Hydronic and/or Steam, Solid Fuel and Electric.

This position will require good record keeping, computer skills and follow-up file (aka “tickler file”) to be created for future follow up. You will be required to make calls on several trades (i.e. home builders, heat & air companies, plumbers, home interior decorators, furniture stores etc.).
You will be responsible for generating your own leads, however LCS will provide you with leads from calls phoned in for services.
You will be responsible for the scheduling of your own appointments, however front-of-the-house staff may also set appointments (therefore it is extremely important you maintain an accurate calendar).
Tardiness will occasionally happen, but you must make every effort to be on time. If you know you will be more than 10 minutes late, it is imperative you contact your appointment to advise them (their time is money, too).
This position will require some after-hours appointment times (i.e. evening, weekend, early morning) along with the possibility of off-hours meetings with trade groups.
If a potential client calls and asks for a specific sales person, the requested individual person will receive the call. If you have been working with a client, and you receive outside assistance to close “the deal,” the commission will be shared. If you have not had contact with a customer 90+ days, the client will not then be assumed to be your account unless agreed upon.
If you are unavailable to assist a client, the request may be passed to another sales person or inter-office member to ensure prompt service.
Reimbursements, if approved, must have accompanying receipts/documentation, and all mileage must be written in a log form and be presented at the weeks’ end.
It is the responsibility of the Salesperson to maintain a “call log” sheet, to be turned into management at the beginning of each following week.
Please refrain from calling on Hospitals and Medical Clinics, Respiratory and Allergy Clinics, light Commercial, retail Stores, strip Shopping Centers, Manufacturing/Industrial businesses.
Commercial/Industrial Outside Sales
This position will require working knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems that use different types of fuels, powered exhaust systems, paint booths, and other types of air handling equipment. This may also include Filtration and blue print reading.
All commercial/industrial leads will go to this person, however you will also be responsible for generating your own leads. LCS will help in further development of future leads with assistance by way of renting space at appropriate Trade Shows, Advertising, Direct Mailing, etc.
This position will require travel and all travel must be approved, if an over night is required or if driving ≥300 miles round trip.
All travel vouchers or expenses must be accompanied by a receipt. Amounts greater than $ 50.00 must be approved, in advance, by management of LCS Kleen-Aire.

Shop Maintenance Position
- Part-time position (3 - 4 days/week)
- “2nd shift” work (start approximately 2:00 PM)
- Perform routine maintenance on Equipment and Vehicles (i.e. oil changes, maintaining fluid levels, etc.)
- Maintain Equipment Maintenance Logs
- Maintain cleanliness of Vehicles and Equipment
- Start and run all engines that are not in regular use, (to include compressors, Generals etc.) also if there are vehicles not in regular use it is necessary to drive them (around the block) monthly, and perform a wash/inspection schedule of every 3 Months with appropriate maintenance log
- Break down incoming merchandise orders to place into Inventory or set aside for specific job(s)
- Maintain adequate maintenance supplies for vehicles and equipment
- Maintain stock of pre-mixed chemicals
- Count products in/on Vehicles &/or Shop for quarterly Inventory purposes
- aintain order of Shop Grounds including trash and weed control in the Bull Pen, NOT to include mowing (i.e. keeping litter picked up from grounds, lots, etc.)
- Monitor and empty trash cans as needed in shop area
- LCS is a cleaning company and the tools and equipment used in the performance of our everyday work should reflect this
Applicant Requirements:
- Must own personal Hand Tools
- Must possess Mechanical Aptitude and ability to change oil, fluids, etc.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, a knack for seeing something that needs to be done and doing it
